Expanded Collaboration Features One-of-a-Kind Collection Pieces Made Entirely from DSW Shoes.
DSW, the leading footwear and accessories retailer, is pleased to announce the continuation of its partnership with renowned NYC-based designer, Christian Cowan, for his F/W 2025 collection, set to debut at NYFW on February 7th, 2025. This marks the second season the two iconic brands have joined forces to literally fuse together fashion and footwear, and this season, the partnership expands even further.
Following the success of their debut collaboration during NYFW last September, the F/W 2025 collection will prominently feature DSW footwear in every look. This season, the collaboration will introduce six exclusive garments designed to incorporate DSW shoes directly into Christian’s creations, taking the partnership to new creative heights.
“What DSW really loves about Christian’s work is there’s an essence of fun and levity to it, whether it’s the details, the materials, or the whole look, you can’t help but smile,” said Sarah Crockett, Chief Marketing Officer, DSW. “Self-expression is a big part of our brand’s identity. We jumped at the opportunity to play and create with Christian through the fun our shoes bring to fashion.”
“I enjoyed working with DSW so much last season, that I was inspired to create pieces of my collection entirely out of DSW shoes.” Christian Cowan added “With the looks incorporating the DSW shoes, I’ve tried to hit different avenues. Like, we’ve got our downtown cool girl mini party dress that’s quite avant-garde, but then we’ve also got like a Cannes film festival gown, but also there is my version of a workwear suiting moment. And just really showing different types of women in this make-believe world where they were like I’m just going to wear these shoes all over my body.”
The shoes featured on the Christian Cowan runway and in the custom collection pieces are all shoppable and available at DSW.com or at DSW store locations across the U.S.
“Everyone anywhere can own a piece of Christian Cowan’s vision and creativity through DSW,” Crockett added. Following the runway show, fans of fashion, art and footwear can see the unique pieces in person at DSW’s Union Square flagship store in an installation open to the public from 2/12 to 3/12.
