www.textilesresources.com is not just a blog, but it is my passion for the textile industry. After being educated by NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) at the Gandhinagar campus, and having associated with NDBI (National Design Business Incubation) at the NID (National Institute of Design) campus, I started my long journey in this field. Not having anyone in textile from my family, the journey happened to be difficult, but just a family background being a farmer, I learned to fight.
At NDBI, I developed multi-sensory textiles under the business name Vastra-Vinyaas (meaning- trade of garments), this textile had unique properties such as organic raw material (cotton) – handloom weaving – natural processing/washing – organic dying (vegetable colors) – organic fragrance/anti-bacterial/anti-odor, etc. finishing to final materials such as garments/home furnishings, etc. This was during 2005-06, at that time, such textiles were a completely new concept, however, the concept didn’t yield into a business, unfortunately. But I am happy to see many products are available nowadays based on organic materials.

Since 2006, I have been working for various corporates either in B2B, B2C, SaaS, or AI base products/concepts/services related to mostly textiles, and having main responsibilities are sales/revenue generator and bd.
